Divelbiss EZ LADDER® is a powerful and easy to use programming platform for creating ladder diagram programs for use with Divelbiss PLC on a Chip Technology-based products including the Enhanced Baby Bear, PLC on a Chip IC, PLC on a Chip Module and the PLC on a Chip Development Package.
In order to use this tutorial, you will need the following:
Installed, licensed copy of Divelbiss EZ LADDER® .
PLC on a Chip-based product.
Null Modem Cable.
For the purpose of this tutorial, the actual PLC on a Chip product (target), we will be using the PLCDK-01 (the PLC on a Chip Development Package). As will be discussed in later sections, some features and functions are target dependent, meaning that not all functions will be available on all products. Refer to the product's documentation for complete listings of features and functions.
All the examples in this tutorial are designed for use with the Development Package. If you have chosen a different target, some of the parameters will change in the examples (I/O addressing, target settings). Refer to the product's documentation for information about I/O addressing and target settings.
Refer to the PLC on a Chip Development Package Data Sheet (or target hardware data sheet) for specific information about supported functions and how to use / connect to the hardware.
