Overview

The EZ LADDER® application is divided into 4 main sections; Menus and tool Bars, Ladder Diagram Workspace, Output window and the Cross Reference window. The Cross Reference and Output windows are open by default but may be closed and therefore not visible. Showing and hiding these windows will be discussed later.

Menus & Tool Bars

• Menus for applications and project settings.
• Shortcut buttons for commonly used tools

Ladder Diagram Workspace

• Where the ladder diagram program is drawn using the provided tools.

Cross Reference Window

• References all used varaiables, labels, functions, contacts and coils in the ladder diagram.

Output Window

• Where useful messages are displayed when compiling and verifying ladder diagram programs.
