Output Window

The Output window is where status messages are displayed during the ladder diagram program Verify and Compile operations. These messages include variable and RAM memory status and any errors that may have been encountered during the verfy or compilation process.

As shown above, when the program attempted to verify, errors were found. The location of the "link error" is displayed. The (3,1) represents rung 1, column 3 (always column, rung).

Although the EZ LADDER® application has the windows strategically located for easy use, the Output window may be resized, moved (by undocking it) or hidden.

To close the Output window, click the small X in the upper left hand corner of the window. To open the Output window, use the View menu and check the Output item.

To move the Output window (undock it), click and drag the left side of the tool bar (holding the left mouse button down). This will undock the window and make a freely movable window.

To resize the Output window click and drag the top of the window. This will also resize the Cross Referencewindow if it has not been repositioned.
