Variable Definitions

As an added tool, EZ LADDER® provides a Variable Definitions report. This report will list all the variables that are defined in the ladder diagram project. The report is organized by the type of variable (boolean, integer, real, timer, etc.).

For each variable type, each variable that is defined will be listed with the following information:

• Name - This is the name of the variable.
• Type - This is the type of variable (internal, input or output).
• I/O Number - The input or output I/O address number (if it is an input or output).
• Default Value - The default value of the variable.
• Description - The description given to the variable when it was created.

To use the Variable Definitions report; from the menu, select REPORTS then click Variable Definitions. This will open a new window with the report. From this window, the report may be printed. Click the CLOSE button in the variable definitions report window when finished.
