Cross References

As an added tool, EZ LADDER® provides a Cross References report. This report will list all the components of the ladder diagram project ( inputs, outputs, etc.).

The different sections of the report divided by these types:

1. Inputs - Real world inputs.
2. Outputs - Real world outputs.
3. Internal - Internal variables.
4. Functions - Functions used in the ladder diagram project.
5. Not Used - Variables that are defined but not used anywhere in the ladder diagram project.
6. Contacts without Coils - Contacts that are used in the ladder diagram project that do not have an associated coil used.
7. Coils without Contacts - Coils that are used in the ladder diagram project that do not have an associated contact used.

For each type, the following information will be listed:

• Name - This is the name of the variable.
• Rung - The rung # where the object is located
• Type - This is the type of variable (internal, input or output).
• Description - The description given to the variable when it was created.

To use the Cross Reference report; from the menu, select REPORTS then click Cross References. This will open a new window with the report. From this window, the report may be printed. Click the CLOSE button in the variable definitions report window when finished.
